Case Overview
The case can be evaluated as a mixed item pool in which individual entries may differ by collection, cosmetic type, rarity tier, market recognition, and trading depth. A broader composition may produce a more heterogeneous value distribution than a tightly themed case. The quality of the pool therefore depends on how much probability weight is assigned to common, mid-range, and scarce items. Market positioning is also affected by the proportion of actively traded outcomes, the availability of substitutes, collector demand, and the consistency of secondary-market activity across the included items.
Value and Risk Factors
Expected value is determined by multiplying the market value of each possible outcome by its probability and aggregating the results across the full pool. The presence of high-value items has limited analytical significance when their assigned probability is very small. Variance increases when value is concentrated in a narrow set of scarce outcomes while most probability mass remains in lower-value tiers. This can create a substantial gap between the arithmetic mean and the median result. Other relevant factors include trading volume, bid-ask spreads, supply changes, demand persistence, and shifts in market liquidity. A robust assessment should therefore focus on probability transparency, distribution balance, item-pool quality, and the stability of realizable secondary-market value.
